Hi everyone! I am the flag raiser Sheng Zong Ming from Class 4 Grade 6. I am a studious and logical student. I have a lot of hobbies, such as reading books, listening to music, swimming, climbing and playing the violin. Among them, my favourite one is playing the violin. I am currently at 10th level, and have insisted this hobby for 6 years instead of giving it up. This hobby has accompanied with me for a long time My motto is ‘one loses by pride and by modest’. I am really thankful to the teachers can give this chance for me. I will study more harder and won’t let the teachers down. Thank you!

国旗下讲话
尊敬的老师们，同学们，大家早上好：
在1969年5月17日，国际电信联盟正式通过决议，决定把国际电信联盟的成立日5月17日定为“世界电信日”，并要求各会员国从1969年起，在每年的5月17日开展纪念活动。
19世纪30年代，随着电报的发明，用电磁系统传递信息的电信事业便迅速发展起来，人类也因此进入了电信时代。到今天，全世界的人们利用网络从事研究、传递信息、交流情感，互联网得到迅速普及并逐渐渗透到社会生活的各个领域。
网络世界，是非常精彩的，也正因为它的精彩，才充满了诱惑，同时也出现了网络上的不良行为，有的人沉迷于网络游戏，甚至出现网络犯罪。为加强同学们的网络道德教育，引导同学们文明上网，特向同学们提出以下几点倡议：
一、要正确对待网络虚拟世界，增强对不良信息的辨别能力，主动拒绝不良信息。
二、争做网络道德的模范。懂得基本的对与错、是与非。
三、争做网络文明的使者。使用网络文明的语言，在无限宽广的网络天地里倡导文明新风。
四、学会利用网络资源来帮助我们学习。把握好上网的时间，一次上网不能超过一小时，注意身心健康。
网络在我们面前展示了一幅全新的生活画面。同时，美好的网络生活也需要我们用自己的美德和文明共同创造。从我做起，从现在做起，自尊、自律，文明上网，绿色用网。谢谢。
With the development of the Internet, the network is not only an important way to obtain information, but also a new situation for people to communicate emotions, learn knowledge, amuse and relax. As the Internet is more and more common, teenagers also gradually begin to meet the Internet. However, the network is not only a mine of information, but also full of a lot of other illegal content. Obtain knowledge with Internet is helpful to our learning and growth, but if we lose ourselves in the Internet because of those unhealthy content, it will bring us great harm.
So, we should correctly use the Internet, persist in the green Internet, against bad information on the Internet and refuse to addicted to the Internet.
